HARDEE INTRODUCTION
This project was compiled by Bev Gorman, Francis Hodges, David Hardee and Martha Mewborn Marble. There is some information from The Hardee Book by Col. David Hardee, dec, Ima Mewborn, dec., and John Croom who has extensive information on the Croom family.
As usual, there are many holes and some of this family appears to have moved back into Pitt County. Although it has always been written that Joseph Hardee was the husband of Sarah Croom, we have come to the conclusion his name was Thomas.
