Subj: Proud to be a Pace!!! (Ballard Preston Pace letter)

I have been interested in my ancestors for many years. My father has a letter written by his grandfather, Ballard Preston Pace known to family as "Uncle Bob". "Uncle Bob" was the youngest son of Daniel Pace and Serena Stultz Pace.
This letter is written in pencil on aging paper and is very brittle. I will attempt to type it as it is written. Some of the words are not ledgable but the jist is obvious.
I believe this letter should be shared with the family.

A copy of this letter can be found in the book The Trek of The Paces Throught Henry County and the Heritage They Left Behind by John Edward Pace, Sr. Printed by the Bassett Printing Corporation, Bassett, Virginia 24055. According to this book this line of Pace's are decended from Richard Pace of Jamestown.
I also know the grave site of Ballard Preston Pace. The tomb stone confirms that my great grandfather was soldier in Army of Northern Va. and was in the 24th Va calvary of the CSA.
Ballard Preston Pace was the youngest son of Daniel and Serena Stultz Pace
Ballard Preston Pace had two families the first was of the Paces of Henry County, Virginia. The Second was by Mary Elizabeth Floyd Pace, birth date 5/4/1882. Their only son was John Henry Pace
John Henry Pace married Sarah Elizabeth Moss(born 1/15/1894) on 4/24/1910. They had eight children.
