Was a farmer most of his life raised watermelons for market .Later in life he owned and operated Pace's Grocery. The picture of Chester and his brother Barron [B.D.] is in front of the store.

B.D. & Chester married Bentley sisters. They each had 1 son & 2 daughters, 5 grandsons & 4 Grand-daughters. Both were farmers and worked into their 90's before retiring.
