The purpose of this site is to provide space for display and retrieval of old pictures for Paces of all family lines. The emphasis will be on pictures of the 19th and early 20th centuries. This is NOT a site for display of your present day family photos. Display of older Pace photographs which show ancestors of several Pace families is the goal.
Anyone who has old Pace pictures is welcome to submit them. Scan the pictures or have them scanned and attach the graphic file to an e-mail to royjNOSPAM@webster.edu (Remove the NOSPAM); or mail copies of the pictures to Roy Johnson, 463 Dickens Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122-3810, and I will scan them, PLEASE do not send one-of-a-kind irreplaceable family mementos. Have a copy made.
Give as much information as you can about the picture(s) including identifying all possible persons and identifying the Pace family lines that they belong to, when and where the picture was made, etc. If their ancestry can be traced back to earlier Paces, please include that information. You may also indicate how you descend from or relate to the individual(s) in the pictures. Keep it brief.

Tri-racial Paces: This interesting story, sent to me by a person with the interesting name of Europe Ahmed Farmer, tells of a tri-racial group of the upper South which included Paces and whose ancestors were never slaves. They were mixed with whites, Indians, blacks. Read the story and see the picture of Pace descendents of mixed race. All pictures on the page are Pace descendents.
