John Evans Pace, Jr. and John Evans Pace III (me)
at the grave of Rev. Dredzil Evans Pace who founded Liberty Baptist
Church in Ashland, Alabama [Clay County]. This photo was made right after
I went to my first appointment as a United Methodist Minister. That would
be the summer of 1980.
You will never realize how special this is for me. I did not realize at the time but now.. .it's priceless. The two of us standing at the grave of his great grand- father and my great-great grandfather. |
