Winston County, Alabama, Pace Records

These are some PACE references passed to me by an ASHLEY-L friend. Since there
is no PACE-L to post this on, thought maybe you would find a place to stick it: --Jackie Ashley

For those of who don't realize where Winston County, AL is nor why I [Jane
Benson]am looking for these other names being posted:
Winston Co. is in the NW quadrant of ALABAMA not too far from the
Mississippi &and Tennessee state lines. One of my ASHLEY family members
settled in this area after moving out of Georgia. Another one settled in nearby
Franklin Co. & the third one settled in nearby Lawrence Co.
Although still not sure of some family members, I do know that some of
mine moved westward from there on into MS, LA, & TX. There is a POSSIBILITY that
yours moved through my area & I am trying to look for related family names as I
see them on my computer screen in order to help both you and myself to find
track of lost ancestors.
