Charles William GEGG (1876-1937)

Charles William GEGG1 (known as 'Charlie'), son of James Albert GEGG (1850-1915) and Elizabeth TICKNER (1852-1929), was born on 30 January 1876 in Windellama, NSW.2 He was a follower of the Presbyterian faith .3 He was a dredger . He married Sarah FLEMING on 29 December 1909 at the Methodist Church in Leichhardt, NSW.4

he died (aged 61) on 27 April 1937 in Toowoomba, Qld.5,6 He was buried on 28 April 1937 in the Drayton and Toowoomba Cemetery, Presbyterian 4, Block 4, Allotment 11 in Toowoomba.7,8

 

He was generally known as Charlie.9

 

Sarah FLEMING4 was the daughter of Alexander FLEMING ( -1914) and Charlotte STONEBRIDGE ( -1926). She and Charles William GEGG had the following children:
