Dorothy Selina COLLINS1 (known as 'Dolly'), daughter of Henry d'Arcy COLLINS (1887-1957) and Florist Amelia GEGG (1886-1953), was born on 6 March 1922 at "Pineleigh", Common St in Goulburn, NSW.1,2 In 1928 (estimated) she resided at "The Briars" in Bong Bong, NSW. She was a child living with her parents.1 She was confirmed on 9 August 1936 at St John's Church in Moss Vale, NSW.3 She received First Communion on 16 August 1936 at St John's Church in Moss Vale.3 In 1940 (estimated) she resided at Parkes Rd in Moss Vale.4 In 1943 she resided at Beaconsfield Rd in Moss Vale. She was living with her parents.5

Dolly married Clyde William O'NEIL in 1945 at the BDM District in Moss Vale.6

between 1945 and 1949 they lived at 181 Lackey Rd in Moss Vale. They were living with Clyde's parents.7

between 1949 and 1954 they lived at Beaconsfield Rd in Moss Vale. They moved there sometime between these dates. The house was divided into two flats with the house fairly equally divided across the centre so that there was a front and a rear flat. They lived in the front flat while Dot's parents were in the back. Sometime after December 1953 they moved to Oak Flats, NSW, living in a rented house at the bottom of a street off Central Ave (probably Hopetoun, Miller or Madden St). Finally in January 1960 they moved into their own house. They had built it with the assistance of Dot's brother Norman at 333 Princes Hwy, Albion Park Rail, NSW.8,9,10,11,12

Clyde and Dot didn't have any children.1

Dolly died (aged 88) on 21 September 2010 at Shellharbour Hospital in Mt Warrigal, NSW. She had been in hospital and returned home but was unable to live by herself. She left the gas stove on and so was returned to hospital on 16 September where she died in her sleep five days later.13 She was buried in September 2010 in the general cemetery in Moss Vale.13,14

Among a lot of her family she was known as Dolly but her sister Gladys' family only knew her as Dot.15

It would appear that they gave the Albion Park Rail Address to the Electoral Office in 1958, before they actually moved into the house. As seen in Source 0493, the letter from Les Collins, they still hadn't moved in at 21 Dec 1959. It has been assumed they were in by Jan 1960
