Mary GOODWIN1,2,3 married Walter TICKNER on 26 May 1765 in Hawkhurst, Kent. The witnesses were Edward Blunt and James Hider.4

- Elizabeth TICKNER (b. 1771 Hawkhurst; 5 Feb 1771 Hawkhurst). On 25 Apr 1791 in Hawkhurst, she married William PAYNE (d. 1822 Hawkhurst)
- John TICKNER (b. 1773 Hawkhurst; bap. 24 Jan 1773 Hawkhurst; d. 1847 Hawkhurst) On 20 Oct 1795 in Hawkhurst he married Susanna WOODMAN (b. 1773 d. 1842 both at Hawkhurst). John and Susanna had 8 children
- Thomas TICKNER (b. May 1775 Hawkhurst; bap. 14 May 1775 Hawkhurst d. May 1776 Hawkhurst).1,5
Mary died in 1776 in Hawkhurst.1
Walter TICKNER1,6 was the son of Peter TICKNER (1713-1782) and Sarah BLUNT ( -1773).
