Maria TICKNER (1821-1891)

Maria TICKNER,1,2 daughter of Peter TICKNER (1792-1876) and Maria PANKHURST (1790-1879), was born on 18 March 1821 in Rye, Sussex.1,3 She married Benjamin PELHAM on 9 November 1843 in Snave, Kent.1 She married William GLANVILLE on 29 July 1868 in Snave.1

they lived in Lewisham, Kent (pre-1888).4

she died (aged 69) on 11 February 1891 in Snave.3,5 She was buried in the south side of the churchyard at Snave Church in Snave. The Monumental Inscriptions in the churchyard of Snave Church : 187. Peter TICKNER, son of Peter and Maria Tickner of this parish, died 31 March 1878 aged 55. Also Maria, sister of above and wife of William GLANVILLE of Lewisham who died 11 February 1891 aged 69.5,6
