Olive BOLAND (1890-1970)
Olive BOLAND,1 daughter of George BOLAND (1848-1923) and Janet Ellen GEGG (Snr) (1852-1926), was born in 1890 at the BDM District in Ashfield, NSW.2 She was christened in 1890 in an unidentified place or church. She married Ernest T HAYNES in 1920 at the BDM District in Burwood, NSW.3
she died (aged 80) in 1970 in Ryde, NSW.4
Researcher Helen Sutton says of Olive ".... was married to a very nice man called Ernest and she was very gentle and ladylike".5
BOLAND, BOWLAND and in some sources BOLLAND are different spellings of the family name.
