John TICKNER (1799?-1838)
John TICKNER,1 son of Thomas TICKNER (bef1758-1816) and Susannah BAILEY (1763-1816), was born in 1799 (approx.) in Wittersham, Kent.1,2 He was a mariner .1 He married Mary GOODSELL on 26 August 1823 in Winchelsea, Sussex.1
he died (aged 39) on 17 June 1838 at sea . He drowned off Broomhill, Winchelsea.1,2
