William James COOK1,2 was born in 1781 in a place still to be found.1 He married Sarah TICKNER in June 1799 at Iden in Winchelsea, Sussex. The marriage was witnessed by Thomas Tickner, who probably was her father and John Steadman.1,2,3

Sarah TICKNER1,2 was the daughter of Thomas TICKNER (bef1758-1816) and Susannah BAILEY (1763-1816).
