William A COLLINS1 (known as 'Willie'), son of James Thomas COLLINS (1847-1928) and Selina ARNOLD (1856-1932), was born in 1898 at the BDM District in Bombala, NSW.2 It is not known whether Willie served in World War I. On the back of a photo he sent to his brother Henry (Harry) he said "Don't be surprised if you hear of Private W Collins going along with the route march that starts from Delegate & finishes at Goulburn". However no record of service has been found so he may not have participated in the route march.1
Willie died "Date Unknown" .
