Eliza Dengate TICKNER (1865-1931)

Eliza Dengate TICKNER1,2 (known as 'Lie'), daughter of Henry TICKNER (bef1821-1895) and Martha RIDEOUT (1828-1875), was born on 26 May 1865 in Razorback, NSW.3,4 She married Walter NICHOLS on 17 February 1886 in Goulburn, NSW.1,4

Walter and Eliza had 6 children :

- Ethel Ann NICHOLS (b. 11 Feb 1887 Rocky Ponds, Goulburn NSW)

- Joseph Henry NICHOLS (b. 26 Feb 1888 Rocky Ponds, Goulburn NSW)

- Charles Walter NICHOLS (b. 26 May 1889 Rocky Ponds, Goulburn NSW)

- Alice Maud NICHOLS (b. 13 Dec 1891 Gaylong, NSW)

- Frederick W NICHOLS (b.1897 Buriedrowa, NSW; m.1923 Newtown, NSW Ethel P RICHARDSON). Pte. Fred Nichols was taken Prisoner of War on 19 July 1916

- Ida M NICHOLS (b.1900 Hay, NSW; m.1930 Sydney NSW Sidney R WOOD).5,6,7

Lie died (aged 66) on 22 September 1931 at the BDM District in Canterbury, NSW.3,8
