Garrett James COTTER,1,2,3 son of James COTTER (1842-1922) and Elizabeth LENANE (1841-1911), was born in 1881 in Michelago, NSW.1,4 Garrett's parents were James COTTER and Elizabeth LENANE (F0257).5 Garrett was a follower of the Catholic faith .6 He married Mary Ann GRADY in 1919 at the BDM District in Goulburn, NSW.3,7

Garrett died (aged 69) on 23 July 1950 in Michelago.1,3,9 He was buried in July 1950 in Grave 57 of the Catholic section of the general cemetery in Michelago.1,6
Mary Ann GRADY3,8 (known as 'Polly') was the daughter of Cornelius GRADY (1846-1888) and Margaret RYAN (1851-1940).
