James GEGG ( -1846)

James GEGG was born in a location to be determined. His relationship to John is Maternal Great (x3) Grandfather. James resided at 6 Swan Lane - On the south side of the Thames opposite Stephney in Rotherhithe, Surrey (pre-1888). He lived at this address when his son William was baptised. It is not known if he was living with William's mother.1,2 He was a shoemaker .3 He married Euphemia WILSON on 17 July 1817 in Edinburgh, Midlothian in Scotland.4

he died on 3 May 1846 in St Clement Danes, Middlesex.5

 

Euphemia Wilson married a James Gegg at St Cuthbert's, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland on 17 July 1817. At this stage it is not known for sure that Euphemia's James Gegg was this database's James Gegg (0023) but she has been included in the database based on this possibility.
