Michael MCMAHON1 was born in 1860 in Yass, NSW.1,2 Michael's parents were John McMAHON and Mary Ann McMAHON**.2 Michael was a follower of the Catholic faith .3 He was a labourer .3 He married Margaret RYAN in 1890 at the BDM District in Queanbeyan, NSW.1,4

Michael and Margaret had 3 children :

- Michael McMAHON (b.1891 Queanbeyan, NSW; d. 11 June 1956 Cooma, NSW; bur. Michelago Cemetery, NSW; occup. Labourer). (Twin)

- Catherine McMAHON (b.1891 in Queanbeyan, NSW). (Twin). Catherine married Edward Henry HAMMOND 1912 Grenfell, NSW. They had three children.

- Timothy McMAHON (b.1894 Queanbeyan, NSW; d. 11 May 1979 Michelago NSW; bur. Michelago Cemetery, NSW; occup. Labourer).2

Michael died (aged 78) on 29 November 1938 in Queanbeyan.2,5 He was buried in 1938 in the cemetery in Michelago, NSW.2

 

Margaret RYAN6 was the daughter of William RYAN (1812?-1857) and Margaret BYRNE (1820?-1898).
