Harriett WILLIAMS (1809-1859)
Harriett WILLIAMS,1,2 daughter of John WILLIAMS ( - ) and Rebecca WILLIAMS** ( - ), was born on 11 July 1809 in a location to be determined.3,4,5 She was christened on 4 October 1810 at the Parish of St Ewe in Cornwall, England.6 Her relationship to John is Paternal Great (x2) Grandmother. Harriett married Charles BURLEY on 7 March 1835 in Tregony, Cornwall.2,6,7
she migrated from Plymouth, Devonshire to Sydney, NSW arriving on 16 January 1839. Harriett travelled to Australia on the barque "Alfred" with her husband Charles and two children Sophia and Frederick. The ship departed from Plymouth, England on 17 September 1838. The Master was Captain FLIND.6,8
on 18 November 1849 she and Charles BURLEY lived at Bellgrave on the Allyn River in Upper Paterson River, NSW. This was when their son John was born.1,9
she died (aged 50) on 15 August 1859 in Underbank, NSW.10,11,12,13,14
