[[Greetings
I am particularly inexperienced in family history and have just begun embarking on looking into my own.
When i was searching my paternal great grandmother I came across your website which seemed to make no sense at all to me.
My great grand mother was Sarah Emily Macgregor. She was born in the Goulburn region and died at a great age, I believe in Canberra. I remember visiting her as a very small boy in the early 60s.
My hunch is that she is the Sarah Emily Hockey who married Donald Macgregor in Goulburn in 1899, firstly because Donald is a family name in every generation and secondly because the whole of this side of my family is in and around Goulburn.
The only trouble with this Sarah Emily Hockey is that your information has her dying at the age of 16. At least according to the birth records online she is really the only one who matches the profile I have.
My Father also has a memory of having an "Uncle George Hockey" as a boy, which would seem to fit.
I would be very grateful if you have the time to help solve my puzzle
Best wishes

This reference is now regarded as unreliable due to an email from a relative.
