Alice Maud GREENWOOD1 was born in 1877 at the BDM District in Braidwood, NSW.1 Alice's parents were James GREENWOOD and Sarah Jane BARNETT or PATON (which is unclear).1
When they were first married Alice and Henry BOWLAND lived at Deloraine in Braidwood.2
They had 10 children :
- Priscilla BOWLAND (b.1894 Braidwood; d.1896)
- Cecil Horace BOWLAND (b.1895/6 Braidwood; d. 1 Oct 1987 Haberfield NSW). He married Gladys I BEILEITER 1924 Bombala NSW
- Gordon G BOWLAND (b.1898 Braidwood NSW; d. aft.1975). He married Nina 'Ollie' PASSMORE (b.1898 Sydney NSW) 1934 Waverley NSW
- Henry Augustus BOWLAND (b.1900 Braidwood NSW; d. 6 Jun 1989). He married Elizabeth Josephine CARTER 1939 Nowra NSW.
- Unknown BOWLAND
- Ellen BOWLAND (b.1905; d. aft.1975). She married George H RAMSAY 1927 Nowra NSW
- Unknown BOWLAND
- Unknown BOWLAND
- Lillian Joyce BOWLAND (b. 3 Sep 1911; d.2004 Yass NSW). She married Wallace Henry LEATHAM 1939 Sydney NSW. She also married Laurie MARRIOTT 1976 Hornsby NSW. She never had any children
- Ernest Stanley BOWLAND (b. 29 Jan 1914; d. 9 Apr 1990 Nowra NSW). He married Nancy MORRIS in 1935 and then Adelle Hartl after 1958.1
Alice died (aged 84) in 1961 in Hornsby, NSW.1
Henry BOWLAND3 was the son of George BOLAND (1848-1923) and Janet Ellen GEGG (Snr) (1852-1926).
