Mary Jean SMITH1,2,3 (known as 'Minnie'), daughter of James SMITH (1834-1869) and Sarah BUCKLEY (1840-1885), was born on 2 September 1869 at the BDM District in Wagga Wagga, NSW.4,5,6 She married Francis HUDSON on 29 June 1889 at the BDM District in Redfern, NSW.6,7
on 28 May 1920 they lived at "Parita", Waratah St in Canterbury, NSW.8,9
she died (aged 83) on 31 October 1952 at the BDM District in Petersham, NSW.10,11 She was buried in November 1952 in Grave Number 7036, section 9 of Rookwood cemetery in Lidcombe, NSW.12,13
Francis and Mary raised John Owen (0013) after his mother died.14
