William Henry KING¹ was born on 8 September 1862 in Yan Yean, Vic.¹ William's father was Robert KING (b.1810 in Tyrone, Ireland; d. 23 Jul 1904 South Preston, Victoria).¹ William married Amelia Annie HARRIS on 5 October 1899 at the Church of England in Braidwood, NSW.¹

William and Amelia had 3 children :

- Harold Henry KING (b. 28 Jan 1900 Coolac, NSW; d. 19 Aug 1994 Manly, NSW)

- Norman Leo KING (b. 24 Jun 1919 Junee, NSW; d. 4 Aug 1992 Goulburn, NSW). He married Alma Anne POLLACK (b. 2 Jul 1917 Golspie, NSW; d. 27 May 2005 Goulburn, NSW)

- Alma Grace KING (b. 15 Aug 1901 Almerton, Junee, NSW; d. 27 Jun 1976 Dubbo, NSW).¹

William died (aged 74) on 6 November 1936 in Darlington Point, NSW.¹

Amelia Annie HARRIS¹ was the daughter of Samuel HARRIS (1842-1935) and Emma GOODCHILD (1851-1938).
