Amelia Annie HARRIS,1 daughter of Samuel HARRIS (1842-1935) and Emma GOODCHILD (1851-1938), was born on 27 February 1878 in Lake Bathurst, NSW.1 She married William Henry KING on 5 October 1899 at the Church of England in Braidwood, NSW.1

William and Amelia had 3 children :

- Harold Henry KING (b. 28 Jan 1900 Coolac, NSW; d. 19 Aug 1994 Manly, NSW)

- Norman Leo KING (b. 24 Jun 1919 Junee, NSW; d. 4 Aug 1992 Goulburn, NSW). He married Alma Anne POLLACK (b. 2 Jul 1917 Golspie, NSW; d. 27 May 2005 Goulburn, NSW)

- Alma Grace KING (b. 15 Aug 1901 Almerton, Junee, NSW; d. 27 Jun 1976 Dubbo, NSW).1

Amelia died (aged 90) on 29 March 1968 in Lockhart, NSW.1
