Ellen MCNAMARA (1856-1920)

Ellen MCNAMARA1 was born in 1856 in Woden, NSW (now ACT).1 Ellen's parents were Patrick McNAMARA and Ellen ROGERS.1 Ellen married William RYAN in 1874 in Queanbeyan, NSW.1

William and Ellen had 9 children :

- Margaret RYAN (b. Dec 1874 Queanbeyan, NSW; d. 16 March 1876 Queanbeyan, NSW; bur. Queanbeyan Riverside Cemetery, NSW Catholic section)

- Patrick RYAN (b.1876 Queanbeyan, NSW)

- Martin RYAN (b.1878 Queanbeyan, NSW; d.1943 Queanbeyan, NSW)

- William John RYAN (b.1880 Queanbeyan, NSW; d.1962 Ashfield, NSW)

- Michael RYAN (b.1885 Queanbeyan, NSW) (Twin)

- Edward RYAN (b.May 1885 Queanbeyan, NSW; d. 25 December 1885 Queanbeyan, NSW) (Twin)

- Maria RYAN (b.1887 Queanbeyan, NSW; d.1927 Manly, NSW)

- James Edward RYAN (b.1890 Queanbeyan, NSW; d.1953 Parramatta, NSW)

- Henry Reginald RYAN (b.1894 Queanbeyan, NSW; d.1973 Queanbeyan, NSW).1

Ellen died (aged 64) on 29 October 1920 in Queanbeyan.1 She was buried in 1920 in the Catholic section of Riverside Cemetery, Erin St in Queanbeyan.1

 

William RYAN2 was the son of William RYAN (1812?-1857) and Margaret BYRNE (1820?-1898).
