Elizabeth LOW (1807-1888)
Elizabeth LOW1 was born in September 1807 at St Andrew's in Fife, Scotland.2,3 She married Alexander ALEXANDER on 5 June 1829 in Dundee, Angus in Scotland.2,4
on 6 June 1841 they lived at Jackson's Land in Scouringbur in Dundee, Angus in Scotland.5
Alexander and Elizabeth had 6 children :

- Alexander ALEXANDER (b. 29 Dec 1835 Dundee, Angus; chr. 3 Jan 1836 Dundee, Angus; d. 1917; migrated to Australia 1876)
- Agnes Dick ALEXANDER (b. 21 Jan 1839 Dundee, Angus; chr. 3 Feb 1839 Dundee, Angus; d. 15 Apr 1925 Westmead NSW)
- Helen ALEXANDER (b. 13 Jun 1841 Dundee, Angus; chr. 18 Jul 1841n Dundee, Angus).
Only Agnes Dick ALEXANDER has been taken up in the database.2,6
She married John DONALD (1822 - 1900) and had a daughter Wilhelmia in 1851 and a son John in 1853, both born in Fife. It is believed Elizabeth seperated from him and came to Australia c.1874/5. John DONALD migrated to Australia with his wife Agnes and infant son John and arrived in 1875. He later had 6 other children one of whom was James DONALD. On 27 February 1895 when aged 14, he was killed by a shark in Sydney harbour near the Leichardt Rowing Club.4,7,8,9
Elizabeth died (aged 80) on 5 August 1888 in Paddington, NSW.3,4,10 She was buried in the cemetery in Waverley, NSW.11
