Some information about Elizabeth Smith's husband Robert Henry G M BUTTLER is doubtful

Text From Source: "Robert is a bit of a mystery man and to my knowledge the family , my part of it , does not have a lot of information. He was born in Scotland about 1864. I think that they lived in Edinburgh. When the family emigrated here we are not sure. His father, not sure of the name yet, emigrated first , then mother, Robert and sister from Leith. The sister later married and went to America. The father returned to Scotland, ships passed each other on the way. I assume that they landed in Sydney. Who and where the mother is I am not yet sure.
I think that they married in New South Wales and then moved to Victoria.
Yes they had a large family but Lizzie left Robert at some stage.
I have attached a photo of Robert Henry in later life and a copy of his death certificate. I believe that a few details have got confused with his son Amoss John, my grandfather. Amoss died in Benalla but not Robert Henry."
