Edward OWEN (1884-1969)
Edward Owen
Edward OWEN,1 son of Thomas OWEN (1839-1914) and Sarah BUCKLEY (1840-1885), was born on 21 November 1884 in Nymagee, NSW.1,2,3 In 1913 he was a labourer in Silverspur, Qld.4 In 1913 he resided in Silverspur.4 He married Unknown (F) OWEN** in Queensland, Australia.1
Edward and his wife had 3 children, the eldest being Ronald Harcourt OWEN.1
Edward died (aged 85) in 1969 at the BDM District in Grafton, NSW.5,6
After his mother's death he was raised by his half-sister Mary "Minnie" Hudson (nee Smith) and her husband, Francis Hudson.7,8
