before 29 June 1915 Doreen PHILLIPS1 and Andrew COLLINS lived at Zebina St in Broken Hill, NSW.2,3 She married him in August 1915 (approx.) in Adelaide, SA. On his WWI enlistment application, he initially showed his mother, Selina Collins as his next-of-kin but then changed it to "friend, Miss Doreen Phillips". It is not known definitely that they were married but a letter by Andy's brother George in Andy's military file states "also believe he married in Adelaide after enlistment".4

Andrew COLLINS3 (known as 'Andy') was the son of James Thomas COLLINS (1847-1928) and Selina ARNOLD (1856-1932).
