James Albert Gegg at one time stood for election as an independent candidate for the New South Wales Parliament. He was unsuccesssful in this endeavour but above is a copy of the promotional Post Card he used as part of his campaign. The picture of him used in these pages came from the front of this post card. The notation on the card about Grandfather Gegg, etc was written by Gladys Elizabeth Owen/King (nee Collins) among whose possessions the card was found.
