James Albert Gegg at one time stood for election as an independent candidate for the New South Wales Parliament. He was unsuccesssful in this endeavour but below is a copy of the promotional Post Card he used as part of his campaign. The notation on the card about Grandfather Gegg, etc was written by Gladys Elizabeth Owen/King (nee Collins) among whose possessions the card was found.
