The home at 37 Ormond St Ashfield where Ted and Betty lived before moving to Condell Park. They lived in the flat upstairs. The property was owned by Ted's sister Sylvia and her husband Les Newton who lived downstairs. There was also a mezzanine level flat where a Mrs Gosling lived with her daughter Jill Reddy. Sometime before 1952, the house was renumbered to 25 Ormond St
