The house in Beaconsfield Rd, Moss Vale

While Henry and Flo are known to have been renting the house while their daughter Dot was still a child, at one stage, Henry and Flo lived in the back half of the house while Dot and her husband Clyde (who were married in 1945) lived in the front half. The windows have been updated to a more modern design. The front verandah is still enclosed the same way as it was when they were there. The lean-to section which can now be seen at the back of the house did not exist. The garage did not exist either. In its place was a sturdily constructed timber-framed shed lined with corrugated iron which backed onto the side fence (See photo of Flo, Harry and Norm below). Unlike in the house photo, the driveway was on the left-hand side of the house. (Information from personal knowledge of John Owen who as a child, visited there many times. Photo 1993)
