Headstone Transcription In Memory of ELSPETH Beloved Wife of DONALD ANDERSON Died at Sydney on the 17th April 1881 Aged 21 Years Also ROBERT, son of the above Died at Sydney on the 15th Jan 1880 Aged 15 months Also DONALD Died on the 16th April 1881 Aged 10 Months Also the above DONALD ANDERSON Died the 15th of Sept 1884 Aged 29 years

The headstone of Donald and Elspeth in Rookwood Cemetery,
Presbyterian Section 4A/3404 (Photo c.1992).
The headstone is broken from its supports and is lying on the ground.
The engraving is in poor condition but a talcum brushing brought it up to be quite readable.

The grave also contains the ashes of their daughter Mary who died in 1944
