BURNS family:
Richard Burns his wife Elizabeth {nee Johnstone} and their 3 children Agnes, James Johnstone, and Richard sailed for New Zealand. They settled in the Waikouaiti/Palmerston area. Richard drove for Cobb & Co. They went on to have 5 more children and Elizabeth was tragically died 5 days before Christmas at the age of 36yrs.
