GREEN family:
My Great, Great Grandfather, Henry GREEN, was on this voyage with his wife, Clarissa Fane GREEN (nee ROPER). They were accompanied by their 8 children: George Frederick born 1852, Henry Edward born 1833, Frederick Thomas born 1835, Elizabeth Mary born 1836, Mary born 1837, Francis born 1842, Eleanor born 1845 (my Great Grandmother) and Edward William born 1850. Henry, who "had been 22 years private tutor to the nobility" was the tutor on the ship on the way out from England. The family settled in Woodend, North Canterbury.
