Sir |
| I am Sir Your most obedient servant C L Cunningham |
| It appears Dr Cunningham Surgeon Superintendent of the "Earl of Zetland" appointed a Schoolmistress to teach the famale children on board. I did not feel justified in paying Miss Blake a gratuity, as I thought the number of children on board did not justify DDDr Cunningham in appointing a female in addition to a male teacher. I agreed to forward his communication to the Honorable the Minister of Immigration for his decision. | ||
