DESERTION FROM THE DALLAM

Ship Desertion. George Holmes, Thomas Farmer, and John Hocking were charged on the information of Thomas Davis, master of the ship Dallam Tower, with deserting from that vessel on the 17th instant. - The prisoners, who had been arrested at Palmerston on the 20th instant, pleaded guilty, and were each sentenced to 12 weeks' imprisonment with hard labour.
