COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
--------
SHIP BROTHERS PRIDE

The Immigrant Commissioners, on going alongside the ship "Brothers Pride", ascertained that the unusual number of forty-six deaths had occurred. The Surgeon stated that scarlatina maligna, typhus and low fever, had prevailed, and that there were several cases still under treatment.

The ship being placed in Quarantine, the Commissioners were unable to make any inspection.
