Claremont (sic), 634 tons, Captain McIntosh , sailed from Gravesend 11th December, 1862, arrived 25th march, and landed 98 passengers. On February 20th and albratoss was caught with a wooden label attached to its leg, on which was written: "Alarm, New York to Hong Kong, Lat. 39 deg. 10 min. S., Long. 55 deg. E."

MILLS family:
James Mills was born in Dorset United Kingdom. On December 25th 1849 he married Anne O'Sullivan in Meerut, Bengal, India. Both had been married before. Anne O'Sullivan's maiden name was O'Brien and she was born in Ireland on October 23rd 1823. Anne O'Sullivan had a daughter Mary born in Ireland. Children of above Sophia and James Mills were born in India and Lucy Agnes Mills was born leaving India for the United Kingdom on a ship. James Mills spent 13 years in India and died on October 3rd 1883 in Whau Lunatic Asylum, Auckland, New Zealand. James had been in the Asylum for 9 months and was murdered there by another inmate. Daughter Sophia [Anna Sophia] married Cornelius Little who was part of Little Undertakers.
