ARRIVAL OF THE WAVE QUEEN
Evening Post April 8th 1879
The Wave Queen was signalled this morning, but owing to the unfavourable wind prevailing, had not made our harbour up to the time we went to press. She is one of Shaw Savill's vessels, and under the command of captain Perriam, who was formerly chief mate of the Pleiades. She has a large number of passengers on board, but no Government immigrants. The vessel is reported to have left Gravesend on the 20th December. When the Stella passed her this morning she reported all well. Massrs W & G Turnbull are agents for the ship.
