ARRIVAL OF THE
Lyttelton Times March 10th 1858
The Roehampton, long expected, arrived in harbour on Sunday afternoon, the 118th day from Gravesend. She put in at the Cape for 4 days, this considerably adding to the length of her passage, but rendering it additionally pleasant to the emigrants on board. Her passengers number equal to 108 adults, but among them are many children. All are in perfect health, and neither birth nor death occurred on board. All unite in speaking in the highest terms of Captain Chandler and his crew.
