ARRIVAL OF THE  ROBERT SMALL
Wellington Independent October 16th 1858

The fine ship Robert Small, one of Willis, Gann& Co's liners, arrived in port on Wednesday evening after a passage of 102 days from Plymouth. The voyage voyage throughout is spoken of as delightfully pleasant, scarcely any strong winds or boistrous weather having been experienced. She brings about 90 passengers, who have arrived in good health, no births or deaths, captain Darke's attention to his passengers is highly spoken of.
