ARRIVAL OF THE HERMIONE
The Evening Post June 25th 1888
The ship Hermione, Captain Parker, from London, was brought in by Pilot Shilling last evening. She left Gravesend on the 28th March, crossed the Equator 19 days after, and the Cape on the 24th day; rounded tasmania on the 14th June, passed Cape Farewell on Friday, and was off Wellington Heads on Saturday night. She experienced very baffling weather from the Equator to the Cape, otherwise about the ordinary was met with. She brings a large cargo, but no passengers. W & G Turnbull & Co., are agents for her.
