ARRIVAL OF THE FERNGLEN
Evening Post September 22nd 1881
The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Fernglen, Captain Bubb, was signalled this morning, and sailed into port at 11:45. She left London on the 1st May, making a fair passage of 90 days. Captain Bubb reports a fine-weather run, and the passengers have all arrived in good health. The Fernglen, on her last voyage, went to Auckland and the year before she was at our port, when her present captain was chief officer. She will probably be brought up to the wharf this afternoon, and commence discharging on Monday.
