John is buried in Midland City, AL cemetery

John lived in Campbellton, FL for sometime, before removing to Midland City, AL. He lived in a white frame house that backed up to the railroad and faced the Midland City High School, located between the Baptist Church parsonage and the house in which Alma and T Walding lived.

According to his daughter, John was in law enforcement in Campbellton, FL at the same time Dr. William A. Parrish was the mayor of Campbellton. Joh and his family returned to Midland City, where he managed the oil mill owned by the Espy's.
