In 1860 the family is listed in Sullivan County Missouri in House Hold #1371 (no township given)

Did not find him in the mortality schedule for Sullivan County.

I knew I had heard of a George Rupe being married to a Mary E Inglish (a younger woman). I found their marriage in the Putnam County Marriages, 1850-1879. It is on page 111 (1-369, 20 Oct 1866). I don't really know anything about them. But, seems like when I talked to Mary Jane Myers a long time ago, there was a mention of the old George Rupe marrying another woman. His first marriage was to Eve Starr. If you want I can either call Mary Jane Myers or Karen Myers Smith and see if they have any additional info on this.
