Welcome to my website.
Here you will find three separate family lineages combined
into one connected surname database. I hope you
enjoy checking out the various Dutch, English, German,
Irish, Norwegian and Scottish
surnames. I have tried to make my information as
accurate as possible. This database of over 4000 entries
includes ancestors from as early as 963 AD in England and
as early as the 1600's in Norway. It also includes Mayflower
Descendants!
I also have included
pages which feature very old family photos from
Scotland and Ontario, Canada that were taken from the late
1800's to about 1930. I would love to put names to
the faces of the civilians and WWI soldiers in these
photos. If you recognize any of the photos please let me
know.
Also featured are old postcards sent from Scotland
to Hamilton, Ontario during WWI by several of my family
who, while serving in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces
and on military leave, visited their former hometowns in
Ayrshire and Stirlingshire, Scotland to catch up on what
was happening with old friends and family.
