 1913. This is a photo of Artemissa (League) Cape, who went by the name of Artie, her husband Louis Cape, their daughters Cecil standing between her parents, Kloa standing on the far side of her mother and Edith seated on her mother's lap. This photo was identified by Artie's grand-daughter, Irene Tesanovich. Irene is the daughter of Cecil Cape(married name Sheridan). The photo was given to me by Maureen Bray, who is also a grand-daughter of Artie. Maureen and her sister Jouleen and Shirley are the daughters of Edith. They would all very much appreciate finding any other photos that still exist of their family. All of the family photos were lost in a fire. If anyone has any please let us know. Thank you. |

 League family sometime in the 1930s. Taken at Clark League's house in Oakland, California. The older man in front is Clark League. On the far right wearing a long sleeved white shirt is Charles League. Clark and Charles are the brothers of, Artie, in the photo with her family in 1913, on this page. Beside Charles, holding the baby is his wife Anna Christina (Rodeman) League. On the other end of the photo is Alva Byron League, son of Clark, standing next to his wife Ella Winifred (Pence) League. She is the one with her hands clasp together. Behind her is Clark's wife Anie Elizabeth (Buchanan) League. In the middle front row standing beside Anna, in the white sweater, is Edith Cape, baby in photo with Artie Cape.  Mr. and Mrs. Bray. (Jouett Phillip Bray Jr. and Edith Pearl Cape Bray). Edith is the daughter of Artemissa League Cape. Thanks to their daughter Maureen Bray, for sending this photo and others on this page, to share here.  Edith Cape Bray and Anie Buchanan League. Anie was the wife of Clark and mother of Byron who performed the marriage of Edith and her husband.  Edith Cape Bray at 80 years old. I do not know who the baby is.
