Ostrander. EL SOBRANTE -- Services for Jack Ostrander, owner of
Ostrander Roofing in San Pablo, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the
Civic Center Chapel of Wilson & Kratzer Morturies (sic) in
Richmond. A native of Santa
Monica and a local resident since 1942, Mr. Ostrander
died Sunday at his El Sobrante home. He was 61. He was a
member of the Roofers Contractors Association and Moose Lodge No. 550 of San Pablo. He
served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Ostrander is survived by
his wife, Maxine; a son, Richard Ray McConnell of Paradise, Calif.; three
daughters, Mrs.
Marilyn Martin of
Little Rock, Ark., Jackie Lynn Ostrander of El Sobrante and Cheryl Dee Ostrander of Rodeo; four brothers, La Vern, Dick and Allen Ostrander, all of Belhi
(sic), Calif., and Avondale Ostrander of Richmond, and
one grandson. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Palmer Watson
of MacArthur Community Baptist Church of San
Pablo and Mr. Jack Weare. Burial will be at
Rolling Hills Memorial Park."
