HARRISONS POCKET BIBLE

This small Pocket Bible was carried by Harrison when he went off to war.  It is said that he carried a lock of hair from his son, James Harrison Osborne, within its pages.  Small amounts of hair has been found within the pages.  There is an inscription written in ink that says;

"John Wm Parker       This

once was Harrison Osborns

Died January 1, 1863"

Mr. Parker is believed to have been a friend of Harrisons that brought back the Bible and Harrisons long rifle & bayonet to his wife Elizabeth.  I am in possession of the Bible and the bayonet.
